R. Vijayaraghavan, CEO
Mr. R. Vijayaraghavan (54) is the founder and CEO of COMIT Systems. With more than 30 years of experience in the areas of Sales, Marketing, People and Business Management, every position he has held so far has been to successfully set up, or grow, a start-up Division/Branch or Company. This includes setting up business in California for a Minnesota start-up company as Regional Director for software services; working for International Data Management, another start-up computer company in Bombay as Regional Manager. Earlier in India, he had worked as Country Manager for a subsidiary of Rank-Organization of UK, and also for The Singer Company, Business Machines Division. Mr. Vijayaraghavan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Madras. He attended Business Management courses at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is an alumnus of UCLA's Management Development Program for Entrepreneurs. Mr. Vijayaraghavan was recognized as Asian Entrepreneur of the Year in 1995.

Venkat Iyer , Vice President of Engineering
One of the earliest employees of Comit, Mr. Venkat Iyer has helped build Comit's engineering expertise since its inception in 1992, as an engineer, project leader and manager. As Vice President Engineering, Mr. Iyer is now in charge of all Engineering at Comit. Mr. Iyer holds a degree of Master of Technology in Computer Science from Pune University in India. With an extraordinary breadth and depth of knowledge in system design, hardware design, software development, process standardization and acceleration, product architecture and technical training, Mr. Iyer is a hands-on engineer, and engineering manager. Mr. Iyer's knowledge and expertise ranges from leading a multi-million gate SoC design team in all its intricacies, to software development involving, 8051 assembly language to state-of-the art object oriented languages including Java, embedded systems, language systems and EDA tools. Mr. Iyer is also the architect of FIESTA ® Process Standardization and Acceleration Toolkit.

Navendu Vasavada, Director
Mr. Navendu Vasavada holds a PhD in Finance from The Wharton School, and a concurrent MSE in Computer Science from the Engineering school of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a PGDBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, India. Mr. Vasavada has held academic faculty appointments at Pennsylvania State University and Wharton, and has pursued a career as an investment manager in equities and fixed income with the investment group at Aetna Inc. for more than a decade. Earlier, he acquired five years of public and private sector experience, at India’s Planning Commission in New Delhi (where he appraised public sector investment proposals) and then at Novartis in Mumbai (where he managed budgets and corporate plans). Mr. Vasavada is Managing Director of Lumin Asset Management, which he co-founded in 1998 to manage global equity portfolios. He has been a member of the Board of Comit Systems since February 2000.
